As you may be aware, the Massachusetts Courts are currently closed to the public.
However, this does not mean that you have to wait to file your case or that you cannot move your case along by other avenues. The Court is not only welcoming new filings, but they are also hearing pending matters via telephone conference and Zoom.
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 shut down on March 13, 2020, our office has continued to work hard for our clients and our attorneys have participated in over a dozen Court hearings, which includes, but is not limited to, an emergency Restraining Order hearing in the District Court, status, motion, and contempt hearings on pending divorce matters in the Probate and Family Court, and uncontested hearings to present a final Separation Agreement and an Agreement for Judgment on a custody matter.
Yes, we have settled cases and have had the final agreements heard by a Judge.
