Jean Porcello-Giusto
For over 32 years Attorney Jean Porcello-Giusto has been practicing family law in Salem, Massachusetts. Jean’s practice is predominantly in divorce, contested, uncontested and long-term marriage divorces.
Being self-employed, Jean understands the complexities of running a small business and appreciates helping other self-employed business owners with their divorces.
Jean also has extensive experience dealing with child custody matters, child support and paternity and pre-nuptial agreements.
In 1993, Jean began her practice as an Essex County Bar Advocate where she represented criminal defendants in the District Court and juveniles subject to Care and Protection cases in the Juvenile Court.
Family is important to Jean, and she argued before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts that siblings should not be separated.
In 2009, Jean represented the Plaintiff in one of Essex County’s first same-sex divorce cases.
Jean is currently the President of the Salem Bar Association and serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the North Shore Women Lawyers Association as Treasurer. She is also proud to be on the Board of Trustees for Salem Five Bank.
